Okay, I think we’ve wandered into about three different conversations now 😂
We’ve gotten into attraction, who gets replies, ANR vs. ABF, and what the “R” means ! all interesting, but not really what I was asking here.
My question is simply
How much does the individual person matter to your desire for this dynamic? Is it mainly about finding someone willing who fits your general preferences, or does there have to be something about that particular person that makes you want to share it specifically with them?
Apparently I opened a few other cans of worms along the way 😂

How much does the individual person matter to your desire for this dynamic? The individual person makes all the difference between an ANR vs ABF.

If I just wanted someone willing any man wanting to meet would do.
I’m not looking for just anyone. There has to be a connection with the person beyond just a physical attraction. For me personally do we share roughly the same values and ideas, can we have meaningful conversations, can we laugh and joke together, can they deal with my occasional sarcasm and give it right back. I would never agree to meet with someone and allow them to nurse without a connection first.
August 14, 2026 at 1:39 am #790925Yes, this is exactly what I was getting at 🙌🏾
It’s not just “do you want ANR/ABF?” It’s whether you actually like that person enough to want to share something that intimate with them.
The laughing, joking, values, personality, and actually enjoying each other outside of nursing all matter to me too. Otherwise, like you said, any willing person would do, and that’s just not what I’m looking for.
August 14, 2026 at 5:09 am #790990People tend to confuse ANR and ABF and use the terms interchangeably. However, I think there is an important distinction. ANR is an ongoing relationship where a mutual bond is forged. ABF is two parties who just want to get lost in the act, but may not be as serious. I personally truly want an ANR. Boobs alone are not enough for me to want to embark on a relationship and breastfeeding journey with someone. For me an ANR needs to meet the requirements of a traditional relationship, but based on a mutual understanding and agreement that our bond is forged by our mutual love of breastfeeding. We both mutually accept each other and enjoy each other’s company. The breastfeeding element just brings us even closer and mutually opens up our love .

August 14, 2026 at 10:54 am #791047For me, finding the wonderful connection through ABF with regular meetings and serious feelings developing then that someone special in your life, becomes the ANR you both want together. So I’m in the I want an ANR partner group.
Thank you creamandcoffeeAugust 14, 2026 at 7:35 pm #791207I’ve learned to ask very direct questions and trust my intuition. I’ve given up on trusting men to be honest when it comes to access to a woman’s body. And, I loved your response to “James loves day” who placed blame on women for men being dishonest. This guy probably thinks he is one of the “good” guys but says misogynistic stuff like that. 🙄
August 14, 2026 at 10:52 pm #791358😂 You definitely opened a few cans of worms, but the actual question is interesting. For me, the person is damn near the whole thing. Let’s be real, if all a woman wanted was somebody willing to suck on her boobs, I don’t think most of us would exactly be facing a shortage of applicants.
The interesting part is finding the person who makes you WANT to share that with them. Not because they are available, attractive enough or happens to want the same thing, but because there’s something about them that gets under your skin a little. The conversation, the chemistry, the way they make you laugh, the way you feel around them…whatever the hell that thing is!
Willing is easy. Wanting you specifically is where it gets interesting…and FUN!
August 14, 2026 at 11:12 pm #791385Okayyy Lola 👏🏾👏🏾 😮💨😂 this is exactly what I was trying to get at. “Willing is easy. Wanting you specifically is where it gets interesting” whew. That line almost made my nipples perk up a little 😭😂
But yes, exactly. It’s not just finding somebody available who wants the same thing. It’s finding the person who makes you actually want to share that with them. That’s the difference.
August 15, 2026 at 1:59 am #791551As to your original question, I personally believe that the individual person (and chemistry) is THE most important part of the equation when it comes to ANR. Speaking only for myself, if I don’t have a connection with someone on more than just a superficial level, and if we don’t share common interests, goals, or desires outside of just the nursing interest, they could have the greatest and most amazing pair of breasts ever to be seen on Earth, and it wouldn’t really matter to me, other than maybe being a pleasant visual treat. I’m not even saying I’d turn down the opportunity to nurse those “amazing” breasts once or twice if that person offered, either, lol. But it wouldn’t be satisfying to me on more than a superficial level. And that’s not what I’m looking for.
I do believe that the “R” in ANR is often overlooked by many people on these sites. For some, it’s a kink, and they don’t care who they nurse or whether there’s any connection or not, as long as they get to enjoy a “set of tits” and get themselves off. And honestly… that’s fine too. To each his/her own, as long as BOTH parties feel that way about it. The interpretation of the “relationship” aspect is a matter of personal choice. It’s what the two people want it to be, even if you’re just two casual acquaintances who decide to share nursing out of mutual desire, without the “dating” aspect. Or even if you hook up, share a night of nursing and sex, and never speak again. Those are still “relationships,” even if they aren’t the kind most people are looking for.
I think it’s just like anything else in life. Everyone has their own needs, beliefs, desires, and goals. There are definitely plenty of people who only want the “kink” aspect. There are men on here who think it’s like a used car lot and that any woman they contact should immediately offer her breasts simply because, well, she’s on this site. There might even be some women on here who WILL offer their breasts to any willing suckler, and who want that type of “drive-by,” “my-nipples-are-open-to-all” kind of dynamic. There’s nothing wrong with any of those things, if BOTH people feel the same. No matter what, though, I think the bottom line is… you still have to establish SOME sort of connection with the person by communicating about what you’re looking for.
August 15, 2026 at 12:34 pm #791740For me it’s both, having an ANR partner for the long term is what I’m looking for since this creates the bonding and connection which I value highly. However a one of multiple sessions just for the act of nursing is also something I like since being able to nurse and suckle on breasts is something I truly enjoy doing
August 15, 2026 at 1:40 pm #791757TJR… I appreciate this answer. I think separating what might be enjoyable physically from what would actually feel fulfilling long term is an important distinction.
And I agree that honesty and mutual understanding are really the key. Whatever two people are looking for, they should actually be on the same page about it instead of assuming they want the same kind of dynamic.
