I didn’t know what to conclude about the whole dom paradigm. Yes, I suppose it is rare for both, at least in my experience, partners to be equal in leading the proceeding in a particular moment. Usually one controls the position or the extent of participation. If it is mutually beneficial then why does dom have to be thought of as being part of it? IMHO, there is an attitudinal difference between the fetish dom and just the partner suggesting trying something different.
