    1. Its different with every person. If there us a spark or not. Cant tell. It can start with physical, but when the connection is not there, thats not enough.
    2. Each to his own. For me, thats a hard no. Its not seperate. Do not want to be physical without a meaningful c9nnection. Makes it so much more worthwile.
    3. Not too soon offline. I dont want lots of guys in my phone

I posted the original post in a PM and was asked to post it openly in the forum.

To answer your question Nici, read my profile. Develop a relationship that leads to a covenantal commitment first. Then explore the physical. A relationship based on the physical is a pathway to divorce.

If you base it on the physical; and then, say an illness or accident occurred, and you can never again engage in the “thing” you want. What happens to the relationship? It withers.

True love is not an emotion that ebs and flows. It is a commitment to another person’s ultimate best even if that person can never do anything for you in return. That is what my late wife and I shared, a covenent relationship with God as the anchor. It survived the storms of life until death did us part.

More importantly, a relationship based on the physical is a violation of God’s law. If God brings me another lady, I want His blessing upon the relationship. If we engage in open sin before Him, He will not bless it.

Yes, I have failed in this respect. I am a sinner, saved by grace alone.

OK, that is my two cents.
