This post is for sharing information on inducing and maintaining lactation. I am moving the links from the Ladies lactation roundtable to this forum post.

This is the site I order Domperidone from. I have been buying from this site for 6 years. I have never had a package seized by customs, but I do know this site reships for free if a package is seized.
While we are not the intended demographic there is a lot of helpful info on inducing and maintaining lactation on this site.
This is the set of flange inserts I bought to change the size on the standard 24mm flanges.
I have not used this because I am lactating. It does not have anything to pull breast milk into. If milk gets sucked into the pump it will ruin this device. I have heard very good thing about it.

If you are wanting to or have induced lactation know how to hand express milk is very important. Marmet is second in line to nursing for emptying the breasts, I recommend women use marmet massage after nursing and pumping.

While I did not have luck with Goats Rue I know it has been very helpful for some women. This is the site I ordered my Goats Rue. Goats Rue leaves
This is the recipe I used for making my tincture.
The info below came from my friend Beth, she has had great results with Goats Rue.
“I’m impressed with the way Goats Rue works. Goats Rue is great because it helps you induce. The other lactation herbs don’t really do that except Alfalfa. Once you have milk it will increase your milk supply. And I have read that even in nonlactating Women it will make your breasts a little fuller. I can’t say if it does or not as I lactate and that makes my breasts larger.
16oz. will make 4 to 5 quarts and that will probably last way over a year. Fill a quart canning jar 3/4 full of leaf and then fill it to the top with cheap Vodka. You can also use Rum, but I haven’t yet. Rum may make it taste better, but the tincture made with Vodka tastes fine. Store it in a cool dark place. Shake it up every couple of days. I started using mine after 10 days, but it really takes 4 weeks or so to be full strength. Strain it through a large strainer or cheesecloth into a second canning jar. Then with a small funnel pour it into a 4 oz. dropper bottle. They can normally be bought at health food stores. And if you have ever bought Motherlove or Herb Lore tinctures you probably saved the dropper bottle anyway.
This is from the Motherlove Goats Rue label. “Take 1/4 tsp (1 ml) 4 times per day. Women over 175 lbs take 1/2 tsp (2 ml) 3 times per day. May be taken with 1-2 oz. of liquid. Avoid additional liquids 15 minutes before and after each use.”
Over the last year, I have increased my dose to 1 Tablespoon 3 times per day.
Other herbal tinctures can be made the same way.
Update 03/13/2017… I am using a French coffee press now to strain out the tincture. Then using a turkey baster to fill the dropper bottles. I also am making it with raspberry flavored Vodka. That improves the taste but adds a little to the price of materials.”
