I’m wondering if there’s any interest in playing any community building/get-to-know-you type games here on the forum? I’d like to propose a random question thread, where we start with a question, then someone answers and then asks a question of their own for the next person that wants to post an answer. Repeat questions are allowed, of course! I just think it’s a cool way to get to know everyone.
I’ll ask the first question: What was the first musical concert/performance you remember seeing?

April 13, 2026 at 2:18 am #729244That would have been amazing!
April 13, 2026 at 2:21 am #729245I’ll answer too. My first concert was Hank Williams Jr./Charlie Daniel’s Band when I was 14. Nothing has topped that experience so it’s also my favorite concert.

April 13, 2026 at 3:00 am #729261First concert was America and Poco with my eldest sister.
Most memorable was the first Legend Valley outdoor rock concert with my brother. Roadmaster, The Cars, Eddie Money, Cheap Trick and Todd Rundgren.April 13, 2026 at 3:01 am #729263Emerson, Lake & Palmer San Diego Sport area
April 13, 2026 at 3:16 am #729268My first concert was in Wisconsin: Ziggy Marley, INXS, and Cheap Trick
April 13, 2026 at 7:39 am #729317REM with Del Amitri and The Cranberries at the National Stadium in Cardiff, 1995.
April 13, 2026 at 7:52 am #729319Bon Jovi at the O2 can’t remember the year. Where was the best place you have ever visited that will always have a place in your heart and why?
April 13, 2026 at 8:49 am #729324First live concert was actually comedy . . Steve Martin in 1977 with my older sister, at old Hynes Auditorium in Boston. Still doing his arrow-through-the-head routine back then 😊 Didn’t see live music until George Thorogood & The Delaware Destroyers, at the Hampton (Va.) Coliseum, about 1985. Awesome show but could only afford a cheap seat way back, in those days 🤷🏼
April 13, 2026 at 10:56 am #729331Judas priest in Hershey, summer of ’88, and KISS at City Island in Harrisburg summer ’99. Still the two best concerts I’ve ever seen. That was back in the heyday of arena shows where concerts were a huge spectacle.
April 13, 2026 at 11:40 am #729334Yay, new question from @Paul, thanks!!!
So the place that will always have a place in my heart is Disney World, specifically the trip I took in 2018. I saved up after separating from my ex-husband and took my kids by myself and we made so many memories and it really helped cheer my kids up and solidify our new 3 person family unit. It will always have a place in my heart and I hope it does for my kids too!
I’m gonna keep the question the same because I think it’s a great question:
Where was the best place you have ever visited that will always have a place in your heart and why?
