I try to be original in my bio because I feel like we see so much of the same thing (or lack of).
What’s the one thing you notice over and over again on profiles that rubs you the wrong way?
I personally love it when people put a little thought into their profile. It gives a nice way into a meaningful conversation and enables an opportunity to find something to connect over. So when I see blank profiles, I find it a little harder to feel driven to make an introduction. Although I appreciate the women here get so many messages, perhaps it feels like a waste of time. But I promise some of us do read them and enjoy the detail!
I may get shit for this but I’m standing on business. When I see “interested in men and women” but then in bio it says looking for a woman only. Like… that’s totally fine but at least have your profile only say you are looking for a woman lol.
It gives me false hope lol
I hate it when it it’s all about how much suckling experience they have, or what they got up to with their ex, but nothing about themselves as a person…
@welshie yeah that makes a lot of sense! I mean, I think we all know we have at least one common interest haha.
The overly sexual pictures, pictures of mouths, and I need a little bio to read. Not a novel… But like a lil something to read, you know?
I agree with Welshie. I don’t want to hear about all your escapades. That does nothing for me, but sound like I’m another thing to be obtained on a list of boobs. Icky imo
Hmm… Pet peeve? Maybe in the about me area they state something like “just ask me”.
People that refuse to send a face picture right away and expect to chat for days.
People that don’t read what I’m actually looking for.
People that flake off and disappearNo pictures at all and not actually reading the profiles before contacting someone. I have specific information on mine and I can tell it wasn’t read AT ALL by the person contacting me.
That’s interesting about the pics. I don’t share pics, but I don’t ask for them either. If the conversation goes well, I’m inclined to share more, and will eventually. But I only share identifying information once trust is built up.

I read a profile i hate it if when you first message someone the opeing message will be there profile bio – ik, IK yak –
it would be nicer to ask is there anything in my profile you would like to know more about!
I agree with Welshie. It can be so bad sometimes that I try to avoid people with experience.

Another pet peeve
People not using this site correctly.
Personal ads in main chatroom. Big no no.No info in bio and first message is something like wyd or hi. So low effort… i am not even reacting to this. Most guys like that dont even have a profile pic.
I also hate lying about your relation status. Be upfront honest when you are married. You dont ‘ forget’ yo tell something like that
