Five observations

Blocking. Don’t get hurt feelings if you click on a profile and see that the person has blocked you. If you have had no interaction with that person it probably means they have seen something in your profile that is incompatible with what they are looking for. There’s nothing wrong with that. We’re all different. They have just saved you some time. By the same token, don’t hesitate to block people who are not compatible with you. You are saving them from false hope.

Guys, if you are looking for a serious, long term relationship, maybe don’t message people while they are active on the site at that moment. Let them enjoy the feeling of being the “center of attention.” Moreover, if you search people who have been inactive for awhile they are likely not being deluged with greetings. They might take more time to read your message and look at your profile. The unserious people have already taken their shot.

It’s possible you will never hook up with your dream woman, or any woman, on this site. Get used to it. No one owes you anything. Becoming bitter just makes it less likely you’ll find her.

Don’t try to be something you’re not. If you’re looking for a “wild woman” don’t act like you’re just here for super-duper soul bonding.

Internal beauty. There are sooooooo many beautiful women on this site. Sometimes it’s on the inside. Sometimes it’s on the outside. You’ll be happier if you manage your expectations.
