The front-page chatroom has been disabled, I am trying to diagnose the underlying issues causing this site to load so slowly, database errors etc. The chatroom is top suspect for possibly being the culprit, but it’s unclear.
If you notice any improvements in page-loading speed over the next day, comment below please.
UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your feedback. Looks like the page loading-speeds are better now, the culprit was certainly the chatroom on the front-page. That will be permanently removed, it’s no big loss to be honest. I will look for a more robust replacement at some point.
Once the site moves to more powerful hosting hardware, speed should improve further. In the meantime, at least we now have a “working” website again, which I’m very pleased about.
I just logged in today. Yesterday the site was working faster than it had been.
Just tested on computer and phone. Sites back to normal. Will update in like 6 hours if anything changes.

Hi Michael, yes it is loading a lot quicker than before and is a vast improvement. Well done in the diagnostics 🙂
