So I’m not sure how many this will impact, but it’s huge for me. For the longest time I’ve been unable to access voice messages. for reasons beyond my understanding they do not play on an iPhone when I’m using my screen reader. I was chatting with someone and they sent me a voice message. For the longest time that meant I would’ve had to send a message saying that I couldn’t play it, well today all that’s changed! Next to the message I noticed a transcribe button which gave me the message in text. Hats off to whoever came up with idea of adding the transcribe feature.
I’m glad the transcribe function is proving useful for you Brian.
Regarding voice messages not playing normally on your iPhone, this can be for various reasons so is a bit tricky to diagnose.
Most important: make 100% sure that all volume settings on your phone are turned up. I mean ALL volumes, that’s ringer volume, media volume, everything.
