UPDATE TO MESSAGES SYSTEM – optional popups for new messages

A minor, but rather nice, update to the messages system allows for onscreen popups to appear when you get a new private message.

These are optional, by default these are OFF.

To turn them on, view your messages inbox, click the blue cog icon at the bottom of the messages container. You will see the new option in the settings area “Show a popup when a new message arrives”.

Check it out, you might like it! You can turn the popups ON / OFF anytime you choose.

great change i would recommend it you tried it the opposite way and require it to be mandatory with the option to change it back that way people can try it before they made a decision

Thanks David, good suggestion.

But I prefer to allow users to “opt in” rather than have to “opt out”. It’s a better user experience overall.
