****Anyone not thinking during nursing only should enter here***
🤔🤔🤔 one person ponders and others follow 🤨🤨🤨???
February 22, 2023 at 2:39 pm #248208🤗🤗🤗 I don’t know if the spelling of wondrous is correct but I am not going to look it up 😉
February 22, 2023 at 2:56 pm #248213@sind Ms Spicy I try not to think while nursing. Once we are settled into a suckling embrace time seems to stand still for me.
February 22, 2023 at 3:51 pm #248224I’ve gotta second Grogs affect, When being suckled, time stops for me too and I drift off on a cloud somewhere absorbing the moment.
February 22, 2023 at 3:55 pm #248225I am not going to moderate this discussion in the spirit of no thoughts or words. Minimalistic approach;-)

February 22, 2023 at 5:03 pm #248260Sometimes my mind slows from nursing. It’s a lovely feeling. Wish it was a cease of all thoughts. Only one thing has done that. But then again still new to ANR

February 22, 2023 at 5:18 pm #248267@grogman Trying not think 💭 seems like thinking 🧐 to me 😇
February 22, 2023 at 5:22 pm #248269Very interesting, did you know that OM is a mantra (to serve as a mechanism to break the chain of thoughts) 💭?
The yogi’s realized that thoughts tend to be like dominoes…. One triggering another not letting peace through 🧘🧘🧘

I know that I’ve used the mantra OM many times in classes but I did not that it served as a mechanism to break the chain of thoughts. But it makes complete sense.I like the domino analogy of thoughts 🙂 thank you for sharing.
I’m going to try the mantra again with some deep breathing.
February 22, 2023 at 8:04 pm #248329I can never seem to stop thinking. Maybe suckling will help.
February 22, 2023 at 10:26 pm #248377Dear Philip,
Another secret of the yogi’s was that they figured out that slowing the breath can slow thoughts. In the space between inhaling and exhaling lies a ‘gap’ or ‘no thought’ a minuscule nano second of no thought when they could access the deeper layers of consciousness. They are then told to expand that space – time event whatever it is so that they can sort of meditate in that peaceful realization or sense of the present moment, where no past or future exists just the present.

I never gave it that much thought.🤔
It might overload my brain cell.😜 -
