And this is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for. I’m definitely not married to the Southeast or any location, really. If enough women are genuinely interested, I’d much rather choose somewhere that gives us the best chance of actually getting everyone together.

Funny you should mention that…because the ball could potentially already be rolling on something very much like this. Stay tuned!

I think a Zoom get together is incredibly viable. No travel, no expense, geography becomes irrelevant, and our friends outside the U.S. can join us too. It gives everyone a chance to put actual faces and voices to the usernames and just have some fun together.

So yes…I LOVE the idea. And you may not have to wait very long. 😉

This sounds like such a lovely idea, especially with women getting together. Alas, I am in Canada. If there was a local event I’d definitely attend. Its supportive to be able to talk about ANR in public with others.

I really like the spirit of this. There’s something refreshing about the idea of taking the warmth of this space and giving it a real-world setting and not as a pressure cooker but as a simple chance to meet, talk, laugh and see who we are when we’re not behind screens.

From my side, count me in. The idea of a meet and greet feels like a healthy step for the community and I’d happily make the trip if the date and location line up.

I agree with you that the key piece is whether enough people would genuinely consider coming. A gathering only works if it feels balanced, comfortable and welcoming for everyone, especially the ladies who’d be taking the bigger leap by showing up.

So if this does move forward then I’d be glad to support it, show up and help make it a relaxed and friendly environment. I’m flexible on location, be it in New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville or wherever ends up making the most sense for the group.

Curious to see how many others feel the same.
