A user today requested the ability to mute the “pop” noise you hear to accompany an incoming Private Message, which unfortunately wasn’t possible. I’ve now had a chat with the software developer and he’s provided a quick workaround which should work.
– At the bottom of your Private Messages threads window, you will see a small cog icon, for “Settings”
– Click that, you’ll see a checkbox to mute the “pops”, check that, all done.I haven’t had time to test this fully, so test it out and let me know in the comments below if it works for you. Thanks!
