To all the women who are taking domperidone to induce, how long did it take before you started producing?
October 13, 2021 at 1:57 pm #43860AnonymousInactiveI started taking one 10m tablet 4 times a day, I had drops in 5 days and sprays in 7, at that point I increased my dosage to 20mgs 4 times a day.
October 13, 2021 at 3:46 pm #43875AnonymousInactiveWhere can I purchase domperidone ? I’ve been trying to induce for about 2months now and nothing just wondering if you can help
October 13, 2021 at 7:10 pm #43945I was pumping and using the TENS before I started dom. When I started dom my milk came in after four days. I only take 30mg per day along with supplements like Legendairy products, goats rue and I’m going to add moringa.
October 13, 2021 at 7:38 pm #43956Any weight gain? Did your breasts get larger? Is it necessary to also pump or wait until you have a supply?
October 13, 2021 at 7:39 pm #43957You won’t be able to induce without dom. I got it at in-house pharmacy
October 13, 2021 at 7:40 pm #43958That’s the quickest I’ve heard. How much do you produce a day?
October 13, 2021 at 8:43 pm #43989Pumping helps with simulation. I pumped at home and used the TENS when I was at work or in the presence of others. Once I had drops (clear or milk) I was definitely pumping or hand expressing.
In another group I’m in weight gain comes up a lot. Remember the drug itself is for GI motility, It is emptying your GI tract. You may feel hungry throughout the day, just be mindful of what you are eating. It puts me to sleep.
Breast swelling was minimal, there is a heaviness and pressure as your supply increases. I don’t believe I will ever get back to my post-partum supply…nor do I want too. My goal is 10oz per day and I still think that’s a lot.
October 13, 2021 at 10:01 pm #44045AnonymousInactiveNot a woman, but I did give my wife dom as a stocking stuffer last Christmas from in-house pharmacy. It only took a few weeks for her supply to come in. I mean she had to start wearing nursing pads by February because she was leaking through her bras.
October 13, 2021 at 11:47 pm #44097AnonymousInactiveI had drops in 5 days sprays in 7.
October 14, 2021 at 2:12 am #44122I feel tired and nauseous after my second dose today. Not sure I tolerate it well
October 14, 2021 at 4:30 am #44185AnonymousInactiveSorry Alexa. I think the tiredness can be pretty common with this kind of medication, might take some time to adjust. Drinking lots of water and taking it half hour before meal should help the nausea. Hope it gets better.
(still not a woman)
October 15, 2021 at 1:03 am #44454It was awful. I was asleep all day and couldn’t work. Thanks for being understanding. I was thrown out of a all woman’s kik group for stating my symptoms and seeking support. Told it wouldn’t possibly be the domperidone and I must be freaking out about food poisoning. Yeah, right
October 15, 2021 at 1:07 am #44455Funny thing is that it’s supposed to help nausea but also lists it as a potential side effect. Stomach cramps were the worst I’ve ever had. I plan to wait two days and take one a day instead of 3 and see how it goes. I figure I have had every possible side effect so lactation shouldn’t take long and my breasts already feel fuller. Funny but the one side effect everyone complains about, feeling more hungry wasn’t an issue for me. More thirsty, yes. I had zero appetite though.
October 15, 2021 at 1:54 pm #44605AnonymousInactiveI’m pretty new to the site, but I hope you find this community a little more supportive than that. I’m sure you’ll get differing opinion on this, but dom should be titrates on and off. Meaning 10mg daily for a few days, then 10mg twice daily for a few, then 10mg three times daily… increasing the dose as you tolerate. If it takes 2-3 weeks to get to a goal of 30mg three times a day, then it takes 3 weeks at least you’re at goal and tolerating it. Then when you plan to stop or are running low on meds, do the same in reverse. If you want DM me.
In the meantime, I still want to clarify that I continue to identify as a man, a stunningly handsome man, but not a woman 😁.
