With the World Cup going on I wonder if anyone has any planned milky meetings or lactation linkups? With people traveling to various host cities to watch the games; it presents a unique opportunity for people who would otherwise not get a chance to congregate to encounter new friends (or old ones you just haven’t met yet). Feel free to share any non-nursing gatherings, as well. I, being in one of the host cities, myself wouldn’t mind helping people find various attractions around town or share a drink at a sports bar during one of those games.
In the latest case of runaway cultural optimization, the World Cup was deemed “offensive” by the ABF community, who issued several scathing lectures re: the merits of sportsmanship vs. the obsession with cups.
Attempts to explain what the World Cup is were unsuccessful.
Awww, I would’ve hoped someone would’ve responded to this. I’m also in one of the host cities and would’ve loved to get together.
