I’m still in the induction phase, I’m producing a couple of drops of colostrum with every pump (I pump about 6 times a day) and I’m producing a bit with almost every partner.
My problem is, those tiny drops make me SO HUNGRY. Like tummy rumbling hungry. And I’ve tried like a protein bar or shake but they’ve been ‘meh’.
Do y’all have any go-to snacks for the milk munchies?

June 12, 2026 at 4:02 pm #757283Hi jasmine. Drink lots of water and there are many snacks. It depends on what your current diet. things like oatmeal and/ or lactation cookies. Let me know if thats helpful and feel free to ask more questions. This is a pretty supportive community
June 12, 2026 at 4:03 pm #757284Also manual expressions should be added with the pumping sessions as you mentioned 6 sessions a day
June 12, 2026 at 4:11 pm #757287I don’t do so much manual expression but I do self suckling and will massage as I’m doing that.

June 12, 2026 at 5:06 pm #757312How about coconut water? Do you like that Ms Jasmine? Supposed to help production and provide protein
June 12, 2026 at 6:19 pm #757324Also. Lentil i think helps and fenugreek helps and how much fiction did you write and was it posted online
June 12, 2026 at 7:33 pm #757356Absolutely do not use fenugreek! Fenugreek can harm your supply without having an established supply.
I found my post from 2023 about galactagogues, you can choose foods that are pleasurable to you and incorporate them in your diet.
Electrolyte waters are really helpful such as Bodyarmor, Gatorade or waters without additives.
