We are sensitive beings. Allright, most of us are, or should I say: we all are but some find it more difficult to tune in, to themselves, their partner or both? In abf building connection is key. Senses do play an important part in establishing that. Or: they can be the reason its immediately clear this isnt going to be a match.

    Senses are: 1. Sight 2. Hearing 3. Scent 4. Tasting 5. Touching

My questions to the lovely inhabitants of this beautiful resort is:

Is there any of these senses thats especialky important to you? Which one? Why? Any special memories/ stories? Do tell!

Daisy! I am laughing! Where is the scolding of not sensitive people? Haha!

I think out of all senses, I especially take on touch and smell! Maybe smell is the strongest as I easy get an aversion if someone’s smell is just not my cup of tea.

This is also why meeting in person for me early on is so important. Imagine liking someone only to find out months later they don’t smell anywhere near your preference and that ain’t gonna work out. 🙃

I think that the senses play an important part of any intimate relationship, ANR or not.
For me, the best nursing sessions are ones where you can really detach from everything going on and the focus on the senses in the moment. The touch of your partners skin against yours, the sounds of nature (if applicable in the moment of course), the smell of the milk, ect.

    Thank you Steve!

Kate, why would I scold them? Told you I am into languages. Its fascibating to see what happens if people do not speak each other’s language although they are speaking the same language. Not helpful when it happens in abf/anr though

Jessica, thank you. Yes, I agree.

@njtitman that was my first thought too! 🤪
Oh it’s just the same as it ever was.
As far as senses go the proper scent can set the mood. A hint of perfume from between her bosom or the scent of her freshly washed hair.
The sense of touch by feeling the warmth of her back. Her nipples hardening with excitement. The special softness of her breasts as they lay upon my head.😜😘🥰☺️
Those would be a few of my favorite examples.

Smell and touch are 2 big ones for me. I go through a lot of effort to smell good and for my skin to be soft. I’ve been with guys who have bad BO and rough body hair. It totally took me out of the experience.

Oh senses are magical! All of them are important when it comes to a partner but smell, taste and touch would be the main ones for me. Smell is probably the sense that can make me decide to get closer to a partner or not. I think both smell and taste are all about chemistry and we have very little control over it.

Smell and taste are big ones for me, but the sound of someone’s voice is really important too. If someone’s voice grates on me, they could be drop dead gorgeous with a fantastic personality and I’d still be out of there!

I expected smell to be important. Thought more people would have said sight, though, I think because lots of people want to have pics.

Nice one Wlshie on voice: sound. For me sound is important too. Deadsikence un a bedroom can kill the mood too.

I feel that the biggest of all these is connection..

The sense of feeling safe in protected in a space that might otherwise feel shamed in the community.

It’s a feeling of feeling safe, accepted, seen, felt, and heard. I feel in the kink community we come to these spaces in an attempt to connect with others who also feel shamed to express their sexuality and things that make them human.

I love this post and I hope this encourages so much more open-ness
