Hiya ladies, can you give me some pointers? I’ve started using a lansinoh electric pump. I’m starting to produce 1-2 drops of milky liquid per session. The machine i’ve got doesn’t have a dedicated massage mode and automatically starts in “let down mode” should i skip this stage as i’m not producing much, not sure whether this will help or hinder things…?
For context (not sure if it matter) I’ve never had kids or produced milk in the past.

I’ve also ordered the therabead compresses abd hope those will help when they arrive!!
    Thx

Super exciting!!! I have never had kids either and have tried to induce using pump but never was sucessful Im so very happy to hear that you are seeing progress. How did you achieve this? Are you taking supplements or doing anything else? I’d love any tips that you could give me. As for your question in my research I have read that “let down” mode is important since it mimics the natural pattern of nursing. Hope that helps.

Thanks Sunshine, that’s really helpful, I’ll see if spending more time in the let down mode helps. I don’t to pump myself up like a balloon in the wrong mode if only a little is coming out as I end up a bit sore and tender.

It may have been beginners luck antway as i’ve had nothing for last few sessions.

Not sure I have any tips at the moment, I guess the key is regularity, which can be a challenge when trying to get everything else done.

I’m going to eat and drink a lot more of the things that may help, I saw a great article on that the other day, I’ll post that when I find it x
