You may know that currently, if you send a picture with a private message then it will be auto deleted by the system after 24 hours and will disappear from your conversation thread.
Same goes for voice messages, after 24 hours they auto delete.
But I have wanted to test out extending this “expiry” period, for a while.
So this period will now be extended to seven days. Hopefully users find this much more convenient than the rather short 24 hour expiry time.
STARTING TODAY: Pictures & voice messages will remain in your conversation threads for seven days before auto deleting themself.
I will review this in a few weeks to see if it has any negative effect on the site. But it should be ok.

Thanks for the notice.thats good I do like them being there for seven days 👍🏼 nice to be able to show and share when we see each other!
One thing That I’m not a fan off – and confuses me !
is if I post a pic in a chat why do people – that I’m not friends with or have never messages beforehand feel the need to message me privately, and not just comment in chat ! 😖
