ABF as an Embodied Partnership

There are many kinds of partnerships. Political, business, academic, social, and romantic. The basic idea of a partnership is that people or organizations join up voluntarily to accomplish a mutual purpose that benefits each partner. Many partnerships are focused on money, property or profit. A typical romantic partnership is a substitute for marriage without some of the legal rights, guarantees, and obligations. To me, what makes an ABF partnership so unusual, perhaps unique. has to do embodiment of the spirit of partnership. With ABF the partners are not just talking, negotiating or transacting. Rather they are embodying powerful erotic feeling and needs for human connection in a profoundly physical way. ABF stirs up feelings and sensations IN THE BODY in a way that few, if any, other modalities of contact do. I think this has something to do with human evolution, how the breasts and nipples became vehicles for bonding through pleasure and closeness. I also think it has something to do with contemporary human isolation and loneliness. Most of us work in no-touch environments where any form of human touch is banned. Most of us go home, eat and drink, and then before falling asleep we spend time without any human touch watching or interacting with TV screens, cell phone screens or computer screens. ABF is an embodied partnership because it puts us back into our bodies and elevates sensual, caring human contact to the forefront of our consciousness.
