Hi I’m looking to buy a pump
And lovely ladies who have one care to give me any advice ? Should I care about mmHG? Does that make a difference and do you prefer the wearable under your regular bra ones or the standard bottle attached ?

It all boils down to personal preference. I would look on ebay or Craigslist for gently used or new open box to get a better bargain on price. I have both wearable and a standard wall plug pump. I get much better output from the wall plug vs wearable but the wearable is definitely nice when on the go.

If you’re only going to get 1, get one that plugs in. The wearable one (I have a Willow) is great, but it’s not as good as my plug in Pump.

Second the above. The electric hospital grade pumps will empty your breasts much better and help maintain supply, versus the wearable are best for occasional use only when it’s not convenient to hook up to the bottles. My wearables don’t empty as well and I use it, at most, once daily at work. For my main pump, I have an Medela Sonata which also keeps a charge for up to 3 uses and is super quiet. I love it!

Hello! I have fully relactated at the age of 53. I have bought every pump there seems to be out there and I personally recommend the Limerick brand. This is one of the best pumps EVER in comparison to the others that I have used. It’s expensive, but I got mine gently used on Mercari (a site I love much better than ebay). I got VERY good results with this pump when I could not get milk with the others. Also the owner of Limerick, she will help you with any problems personally. She has called me on my phone, sent me a loaner when my motor acted up on my used one, they fixed it for basically zero cost. I can’t recommend that brand and company enough!
