Nick I agree we should all be clearer in our communication. I think using a white lie does the opposite.
I think a lot of the miscommunication would end early on if people used the voice chat capability.
LadyO I suggested the white lie as women seemed to be saying they didn’t want to rudely and bluntly tell a guy “I’m just not that into you”.
I’m pretty sure we’ve all told white lies to save some ones feelings or ego before. And that is how I offered it, you’ve saved his/my ego and ended it.
I hope I was clear I’m not suggesting more lying or games in an ongoing thing, but to end it gracefully? Maybe.
Agree about voice chat. Frankly even that is not enough. I’m sure you’re aware a major part of human communication is non verbal and “body language”
We lose all of that majority in text or verbal communication and you are right that causes a great deal of the problems.
