What about a app for abf heaven . what do you guys think?
that would be much better idea then going through the website itself.
Agreed, it could possibly attract more people interested and be an overall better experience for its users. Dunno what it would require but admins may contact a developer.
Developing an App is both expensive and time consuming. There would have to be a huge wave of donations, an influx of capital, or they’d have to charge for the app to begin to cover it.
Until there’s money coming in, it’s just a website.

That means that the other site has enough capital, or enough interested investors or advertisers.
We’re very lucky to have a free website with no ads to use to search for an ANR connection. An app means ads, donations, or charging for use.
There’s no escaping the fact that developing an App means money, whatever form that cash takes.

Developing an app isn’t that expensive to get something running, BUT it has to be submitted to app store(s), and updated to keep it running, and it would require substantial changes to the current back end. It adds up. I’m very happy with what we’re getting!
Would save having to go on the web all the time which is annoying.
It’s clearly something we’d use, so maybe you’ve just triggered the community to rally and help make it happen. I checked and it appears there IS a connector that enables hooking up a iOS/Android, so maybe it’s not as hard as I thought.
I already asked Michael about this when I joined and he said he isn’t looking at doing an app at the moment. Hopefully it’ll come when he finds the right time

The way this is run, keeping this site for ANR enthusiasts and seekers, I am happy with this format. This is best site for ANR connection. I’ll bear with little inconvenience.
