So I finally saw the ANR documentary and I feel a bit underwhelmed and mixed on it to say the least. I want to start a discussion here about it as I’m curious what everyone thinks about it.

Do you think the documentary accurately portrayed an ANR? Did it need improvement? What was bad about it, what was good and so on.

I personally feel the second couple more accurately portrayed what ANR is truly about. A traditional relationship that has nursing involved as a form of intimacy. The first couple I thought was weird and definitely put off new viewers who don’t know what ANR is lol.

Hi Nick, How did you view it? I have tried to find it. I did see Wolfradish are featured a bit and I love their relationship and take on it, but saw many comments of those out off by them. I would love to watch it.
    Thanks,
    Kat

I felt they completely cheapened and made it sound like something abnormal, something that only people with mommy issues partakes in (wolfradish adoption at birth comment) , or in the case of the first couple and milky mommy something to make easy money on.. The first couple imo made the whole thing look and sound gross and sick and were not a true anr couple but merely wanna be porn stars.

It was disappointing and they missed the opportunity to showcase anr for all its many positives.

They certainly put too much emphasis on the sexual element of ABF, specifically how those experienced people can only share their lifestyle with others through the porn industry. That’s bound to lead many unfamiliar folks to believe that adult breastfeeding comes across through sexual relationships, which is far from true.

Many ANR couples enjoy it without sex at all, at least not as part of suckling. In fact, some even reap the rewards of nursing without ever inducing breastmilk, (dry suckling). Those elements of ABF should have been portrayed in the documentary as well, to make it clear that sex is not part of the lifestyle, unless couples want it to be.

As disappointing as it sounds, pertaining to anr, I still want to view it.
Anr/abf is one of the most pleasant experiences in my life.

Ok so we all thought the same thing. I looked on there YouTube channel and all of the videos have the same weird vibe. And to add insult to injury. The first couple was on a talk show talking about it -_- making things worse lol. Well hopefully a fan makes a better documentary that better represents what ANR is about. Milk and no milk.

For me it wasn’t about relationships and the title was very misleading. Wolfradish were the best part of it for me but you can see them all over the internet already. Milky Mummy said she was asked by a fan to feed her boyfriend on camera and appeared to be completely disgusted by the idea? Definitely not “Breastfeeding my Boyfriend”. I get the impression true ANR couples weren’t brave enough to appear on the show and I don’t blame them because I wouldn’t but I don’t think it was from lack of trying on the production teams part.

I didn’t even think of that Karamel. That’s probably the case.

Since joining this site I have come to realize that ABF has lots of different nuances for different people. That documentary was awful though. I didn’t feel represented there and thought that they presented a very narrow and misleading picture compared to just my initial impressions on this site. The thing that made me saddest of all was the commodification of women’s bodies, and the way the overall emphasis was skewed away from women enjoying sex.
