I’ve been wondering if anyone else has had a difficult time finding someone in Idaho, particularly around Boise and the surrounding areas.
I’ve been on ABF Heaven hoping to meet someone interested in building a genuine, long-term ANR relationship. I’d really like to find someone local, or at least within a reasonable driving distance, so there’s an opportunity to get to know each other and see where things naturally lead.
I enjoy Idaho and would prefer to meet someone closer to home, but it sometimes feels like there aren’t many opportunities to connect with women who share the same interests and relationship goals.
I’ve also considered expanding my search into neighboring states, but distance can make things more challenging.
I’m curious:
* Are there other members here from Idaho who have experienced the same difficulty?
* Have you had better luck expanding your search into neighboring states?
* Do you think Idaho has a smaller ANR community compared to other parts of the country?I’m not looking to rush anything. I’d just like to meet someone compatible, develop a connection, and hopefully build something meaningful together.
I’d appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences and perspectives.
October 30, 2026 at 2:18 am #837137I’ve been talking to a beautiful lady in the treasure valley for a while I would really like to meet her but I’m a little far away and just hasn’t worked out.
October 30, 2026 at 2:18 am #837139It’s tough to find a partner no matter the geographical area you’re in. My current partner is from Massachusetts (I’m in Michigan). A previous partner is from Kansas! For me personally, broadening my search area helped a lot.
October 30, 2026 at 2:22 am #837143I understand. I was talking to someone for a while too, and I was hoping we might eventually meet, but unfortunately she ended up moving out of state. Distance can definitely make things difficult sometimes. Hopefully things work out for you! And me
October 30, 2026 at 2:24 am #837146I agree with you. I have broadened my search to other states, and I’m definitely open to meeting someone outside of Idaho. I’ve had a few conversations with women farther away, but sometimes distance becomes an obstacle and they feel it just won’t work out. I understand that finding the right person takes time, and I’m trying to keep an open mind. I think it’s really about finding someone who’s willing to make the effort and see where things go. 😊
October 30, 2026 at 2:27 am #837148Absolutely! Both parties have to make an effort to make it work, especially when distance is involved. Your approach is spot on about wanting to get to know someone first. Don’t give up or lose sight of the end prize!
October 30, 2026 at 2:36 am #837149I agree, and I’m not giving up either! 😊 I think when distance is involved, it’s important for both people to be patient, communicate openly, and make an effort to get to know each other. I’d like to start by building a connection through conversations and learning about each other’s interests, values, and what we’re looking for. If things develop naturally and we feel we’re compatible, then we can talk about meeting and figuring out how to make the distance work. I don’t expect everything to happen overnight. I want something meaningful that we’re both willing to put effort into.

October 30, 2026 at 3:32 am #837167You seem very genuine and your approach is great, I’m wishing you all the best. That said though, there are a few obstacles. This is a very niche community so the options in general are much less so you’re already working with a small pool within the population. On top of that, Idaho is considerably smaller/fairly rare from what I’ve seen. So you’ll probably have much better chances if you’re willing to travel and expand further out.
That said though, you’re pretty close to Oregon and Washington, and I see a lot of people out there into ABF. If you’re open to it, you may find good luck in those states.
And don’t lose hope! Just keep trying man and you’ll find someone in due time. Best of luck to you.
October 30, 2026 at 3:37 am #837169I really appreciate your advice and encouragement. I agree that Idaho has a pretty small pool of people in this community, and I’ve had a hard time finding someone here. I’ve come across people who have been looking for a year, five years, or even six years, so I know it’s not always easy. I’m definitely open to meeting someone in Oregon or Washington and expanding my search. I’d love to travel and meet someone in person, but right now I’m still looking for work, so traveling isn’t financially realistic for me. Hopefully that will change. In the meantime, I’m happy to take my time, get to know someone, and see where things lead. I’m not giving up! 😊
October 30, 2026 at 3:39 am #837171There are no ladies interested in ANR and our population is very small if that and some ladies haven’t been on here for years two ladies close to six years or two ladies five years
October 30, 2026 at 3:39 am #837172I see. Way to stay positive, I’m rooting for you buddy. Btw I just visited Idaho for the first time a couple weeks ago and it’s a gorgeous state. I don’t blame you for wanting to stay there lol.
October 30, 2026 at 3:44 am #837174I agree with you! Idaho really is a beautiful state, and it’s a great place to visit. I’m glad you had a chance to experience it. Thank you for the encouragement, too. There are definitely ladies interested in ANR, but finding the right person and making a genuine connection can take time. I’ll keep a positive attitude and keep putting myself out there. Hopefully things will work out! 😊
