44M from central texas area. Relatively new to the platform but haven’t been able to connect with very females in Austin area or Texas in general. Most profiles look old. Anyone else experienced the same?

As you know, Texas is one of the largest states in the union. Logically it most likely has a larger amount of female members.
That however does not automatically equal interest in any or all members (local or long distance) that contact them. Additionally your desire for an ABF may seem transactional to some, especially those seeking an ANR.
