I live in an oak tree stand with bird feeders. I confess I find humor in sparrows, especially when one of the females are in heat as there are a dozen males all vying for her. I find it humorous because I know some men act like that. In the military they used to say, Nine to ninety, blind, crippled or crazy. I don’t know. Maybe I’m different. I’ve had more than one woman get upset with me when I declined her offer simply because of hygiene. As a massage therapist I was appalled at some women’s bad hygiene to where I made it a requirement to bathe prior to your appointment. So I guess that would be one of my -This aint go’n anywhere- peeves.
I’m rambling. I wanted this discussion to answer the question, “What are your absolute turnoffs?” Where do you draw the line? On the other hand, is there something which no matter what else is wrong if there is this one thing you’re all in? I’ll attach a link on the discussion of women and tattoos. I’ll hold my tongue on that issue but would like to hear what others think about that..
September 25, 2026 at 7:53 pm #816815Well, at least he doesn’t have an issue with men penetrating other men, over and over and over with needles 😂😂😂
My turnoffs, I agree with hygiene. As well as, unskilled with their mouths.September 25, 2026 at 8:27 pm #816828Well, I watched the video. That’s time I’ll never get back. I’m mortified that shit is on my “watch history” along with all the other men living in their mother’s basements! 🤮🤮🤮
And since you asked what our absolute turnoffs are, I suppose I’ve discovered another one, misogyny wearing a little science costume and hoping nobody checks the seams!!!
Because holy cherry-picked research, Batman.
Some of the “evidence” presented here is literally research about how people PERCEIVE tattooed women. Men assuming a tattooed woman is more promiscuous tells us what those men assume about tattooed women. It does not prove that the woman is promiscuous. That distinction should not require a graduate degree.
Then we have research involving ADOLESCENTS being trotted out to help men “vet” adult women for long-term relationships.
What?
Finding correlations between tattoos and certain behaviors in a particular population also does not give you a scientifically validated cheat code for looking at an individual woman and determining her sexual history, mental health, ability to pair-bond, likelihood of divorce or suitability as a wife.
That isn’t “following the science.” That’s starting with I don’t like tattoos on women and rummaging through Google Scholar until you can make it sound like a risk assessment.
And can we PLEASE talk about the fucking Lamborghini analogy?
Women are not Lamborghinis.
We are not pristine luxury objects whose resale value decreases when we alter the factory paint.
The entire premise is so revealing. A woman is apparently something a discerning man inspects for modifications, checks for warning signs, assesses for previous use and then decides whether she meets his standards for acquisition.
Hard pass.
And the funniest part is that absolutely NONE of this elaborate intellectual scaffolding is necessary.
You don’t like tattoos on women?
Cool.
Don’t date women with tattoos.
You don’t need seven studies, a YouTube video and a TED Talk about female promiscuity to justify what turns your dick off.
And frankly, after beginning this discussion with female sparrows “in heat,” segueing into women who supposedly wanted you but whose hygiene failed inspection, and finishing with a video teaching men how to “vet” women by their bodies…
I think you inadvertently answered your own question about absolute turnoffs far more thoroughly than anyone else here possibly could.
GOOD GRIEF!

September 26, 2026 at 2:08 am #816969Your points are well taken. I appreciate your instruction. After retirement I sought out employment in a blue collar, union sh*t house to provide medical insurance for my family. That shop was almost completely male employment. Men were free to be themselves. That too offered an unasked for education. IMHO, wisdom is to be gleaned from listening to the perspectives of others. It’s not always easy. For it is natural to counter with either a defensive apology or an offensive one or a mixture there of. As one gets older, however, I have come to learn that it best simply to smile and accept the fact that we all are self-oriented. i.e. we tend to be our own reference point.
Thank you for sharing your point of view. I see much wisdom in it.
