InactiveI’m currently using coconut oil on my nipples, as I like something natural and the consistency is nice to rub in and massage. However, I find that about an hour after I’ve applied it, the smell becomes a bit stale, so I’m looking for alternatives.
Can anyone recommend a nipple butter, balm or cream that is natural or at least safe for consumption if I have a partner at some point. I need something that’s available in the UK, or a home made recipe. It can include coconut oil, but if it does, I would like to mix it with something that won’t leave a funny smell on my breasts and my clothes afterwards.
Thanks in advance ☺

InactiveMy late wife used to add just a dash of vanilla essence to the coconut oil. Keeps a fresh scent and is fine for your partner too.

InactiveThankyou Greg, I had thought about that but I wasn’t sure what quantities to use. I don’t suppose you know how much vanilla essence to coconut oil by any chance?
May 15, 2023 at 10:21 am #280345Hi RachyJ,
I use Earth Mama organic nipple balm that is safe for human consumption, has no taste or smell. It has multiple uses like a good lip balm, and awesome cuticle cream.

InactiveOh thankyou, that’s always good to know. I’ll have to find out if it’s available in the UK

I also recall chat ages ago about a preference towards lanolin-free creams.
This is by no means extensive research but I found this interesting:

InactiveHi, thanks for posting this. My first impression is that it’s marketing a product, so it’s doing that age old thing of making people worry. And few people worry more than a mother about her baby.
Allergens are usually proteins, and the enzymes that make them active are denatured above body temperature, so the boiling will take care of that. Pesticides are semi volatile, so they will generally boil off and a relatively low temperature compared to boiling.
The lanolin itself is basically just a natural grease, so while it’s not ideal to consume in high quantities, it is pretty much the only thing that has survived the boiling process.
I’m not unduly concerned about an adult swallowing a bit of lanolin and I’ve probably rubbed worse things into my skin 🤣 if I read something published independently by someone other than a company that is trying to make a profit off a rival product, I’d be more inclined to take it seriously.
May 15, 2023 at 1:12 pm #280391I use Nipple Crack by Tiny Humans Supply co. It is safe for human consumption and organic. I use it for my lips and nipples.

InactiveThanks, I’ll check to see if it’s available in the UK
May 15, 2023 at 5:26 pm #280489Dr Lipp is available in the UK. It’s fragrance free, cruelty free and paraben free. However it does contain lanolin. I use it as a lip balm…it has no taste, but does keep things nicely moisturised.
May 15, 2023 at 9:29 pm #280557@rachyj, there is odorless coconut oil is available too. You can try it. Amazon carry it. You may find in your local store too. May be stores carrying Indian groceries.

InactiveThe best really is mango butter. It makes your breasts soft and smooth, yet it firms them and grows them when they can get quite large.

Mango butter you sayMay 17, 2023 at 5:08 pm #281238Thanks for this post @rachyj and all the great suggestions. I’m going to still a few for myself xx
May 18, 2023 at 11:17 pm #281779I apply pure shea butter.
I also have a colloidal silver gel if they’re particularly taxed after a long session.
I actually used Shea butter in lieu of coconut oil on my nipple stimulator. Two birds with one stone.
