The legendary founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus, were raised and suckled by a female wolf, gaining predatory and warlike characteristics from the wolf’s milk. Today, Rome is still represented in the image of Romulus and Remus suckling at the wolf’s teats

If my memory serves, Romulus killed Remus. Guess that gave him naming rights to the city.

Today I want to explain you my last post:

“Our galaxy called Milky Way would be born by breastfeeding too.
    Greek mythology.”

When you are under a very clear sky (no cloud), you can see at night two very long and large white lines in the sky.
It’s just our galaxy called “Milky way”.
A galaxy is a group of lots of stars and planets in astronomy.

But why did we call it “Milky way”?

    Greek mythology is the solution.

Zeus wasn’t a perfect husband with his wife Hera.
He betrayed her several times with others women.

He had a son with the mortal woman Alcmene called Heracles.
    Heracles was a demi-god.
So Zeus wanted a very strong man for his son Heracles.

One solution was Hera’s breast milk.
Somebody drinks her milk become very powerful.

    One day Hera was asleep.
Zeus decided to let Heracles suckle on his divine wife Hera’s milk.
When Hera woke and realized that she was breastfeeding an unknown infant, she pushed him away!
Her spurting milk was gone in the sky. It became the “Milky Way”.
