  1. Wow! What an amazing writer and blog.
    So much information….
    Thank you.
I have the spectra s1 and at last the correct flange size, you can buy a silicone massage insert for that. How does it compare to the PJ?
I’ve also hired the medela symphony which is the hospital grade offered in UK hospitals, but finding the s1 more comfortable and like the massage that the medela doesn’t offer.
How would you feel about putting a video of how the PJ works to see in action?
I do hope many women on their inducing journey pass by here, it’s one of the most informative blogs With so much info and you’ve only just started…
    Thank you

    1. Thank you, Pearl. I will post a video of the PJ’s Comfort in a couple of days.

I had heard great things about the Symphony but have not had a chance to try it.

      Stronger isn’t always better!

  2. Thank you Rose! I am curious, is the TENS machine meant to only stimulate the breast as a pseudo massager or does it help in other departments, as in production or let down?
Also I was curious about domperidone(sp?). I have seen mention of it in other articles. Have you used that or do you avoid it?

I apologize for my ignorance. Again, thank you for allowing us to join you on your journey!

    1. Hi Dennis

I am sure the TENS unit plays a role in stimulating the breasts which in turn promotes let down. I was meeting a suckler in Seattle once and I was constantly using the TENS unit on the train ride to help build up a more bountiful supply.

Ah yes, domperidone. I used some during 2019 to kickstart my journey. This year, though, the shipment was confiscated so I am making do without it. I will get into this more in an upcoming post on galactogogues.

    1. I really enjoy my Willow. I do know there are other portable options like momcozy’s that I am not familiar with. I always recommend googling the brands you are considering on you tube and listen through as many opinion videos as you can.

  3. Hi!
    Great post !!
I too have the pj comfort, spectra 2 and a freemie which is similar to the willow I guess but older. I get so excited buying pumps!
I take Domperidone. Just back on it maybe 2 weeks.
Also take goats rue, brewers yeast and lecithin ( here and there).
I have used the same tens, the discreet one. I don’t like to use it when I have milk as I have gotten a clogged duct I believe from nit pumping fast enough after using it!!
All your info is great for anyone coming into this journey!!
    Good luck!! 🦋

      1. I’ve only had a clogged duct one time. It was painful with a huge lump! I don’t ever want another!!
I noticed with lecithin I produce more, that’s why I take it.

  4. Hi Rose!
Thank you for your detailed & helpful journey. I’m a senior lady that would like to try to lactate. I’m intrigued that I can also increase my breast size & nipples! I’m an adopted mom so never had the opportunity to lactate & nurse. Is it possible to lactate at my age 75 & in good health? Which machine would you recommend to start? I’ve already ordered a tens unit. Do you have an opinion on the BellaBaby rechargeable double electric pump? I would appreciate your assistance in starting my journey! Thanks !❤️

    1. Hi Lisa

Have you heard of the Newman Goldfarb protocol for inducing lactation? It is the most recommended approach for adoptive mothers. There is a link on there for menopausal women.

I do not have much experience with the Bella Baby pump. When it comes to inducing and listen to your body. Stronger suction isn’t always better.

Do you currently have a suckling partner? If so, then those suckle sessions would be way better than pumping.

I would start with the TENS unit and breast massage and as the breasts start awakening due to stimulation then I would transition to pumping.

      Good luck to you, Lisa.

  5. Totally agree!!! I’m
