This topic is proving quite divisive unfortunately, but we should all remain broadminded on a website like this.
Personally speaking, hentai is not something that I have any interest in, but of course I have no objection to the preferences of others – hentai as much as you like if that is your thing.
However, it is not nice to read disrespectful or patronising comments just because someone expresses a differing view as part of the discussion. Joe_Chill, I also thought your most recent reply doesn’t read so well and I have to support Daisy here.No problem. And I agree with you on remaining broadminded.
But you’re free to call the expressed comments here as “divisive”, if you wish. I call them informative. And I haven’t disrespected, patronize, insulted or demeaned anyone for what they expressed. Now if that’s something you might do, that’s on you. But it doesn’t mean that everyone else does the same, upon encountering an opposing point of view. I feel no need to do so. On this post I created, I simply expressed a combination of facts, observations and, personal feelings on the topic and on some comments too.
And just like I’ve said to others before you sir, I’ll say the same to you: Thank you for expressing your own personal opinions, on this post. Wishing you success.

It shows i am not the only one feeling an aggressive and patronizing tone of voice. I really am interested in the topic, i know my shit (got a degree in it and also teach storytelling) so i cant discuss this with someone who is belittling me by suggestesting i never read any or in the end by doubting i will be able to understand. I like a discussion on content, tried to meet Joe halfway.
In Joes reply to Ed he made it clear that he is not willing or capable of any selfreflection.
