What if you do not want your location disclosed because your traveling for work is that possible. I see so people have regions such as east or west. Can we request that ?

Jeff, the location on your profile should be where you are permanently based. If you are travelling then it’s temporary and you should not change the location on your profile.

I generally will not allow users to be overly ambiguous about their location. It’s usually not necessary. Aside from that, it gives users (mostly guys) the opportunity to try and fool multiple women to interact with them via messages.

Example:

Guy’s profile reads:

Country: USA
State: Not declared
City or Region: East

So, this guy can now message ALL women in the eastern states of the USA and claim to be local to each and every one of them. Lying, obviously. But it’s a security issue, so not allowed.
