Just seen the poll on having a ABF Convention.
Would anyone actually be interested in this, UK ONLY!
Basic idea would be to rent a floor of a hotel or a whole glamping pods site.

Hi Evie, an ABF Convention sounds like a great idea. As you’ve mentioned, as long as there’s sometime of way where it could happen without it turning into something else, I’d be interested too.

I hope it happens for y’all.I too think it is a good idea. Though I’m not sure about glamping pods. I’d prefer a hotel. And I imagine those willing to come along, would maybe have friends they’ve met/chatted with on here and would like it to be a good/safe place to meet up. Having others to enjoy the social company with. I think it’s a great idea. Maybe even one of those Warner leisure places or something similar that has lots of things going on.
Hi Evie, While I did read UK only, why not open up to everyone. Obviously it would be up to the traveler to deal with their expenses. Personally I’ve talked to several people from all over, it would be delightful to put a face to a voice. I can’t think of a better, fun, safer way than this. “As far as keys in a bowl” honestly when I read that I assumed it was to prevent drunk drivers.
Keys in a bowl ffs as if I’d allow some stranger suckle me just because he pulled my keys out of a bowl. Dear god what a stupid comment. I’d love to attend something like this but not if that’s the thought process of the men attending.
The keys in the bowl suggestion makes me feel unsafe instantly. I dont want to go anywhere when suckling automatically is expected to be included.

Also would not mind to travel to the UK, sorry to hear its UK only.I learned what keys in a bowl are. That just sounds hideous, even from the male perspective – no thank you. What people want is a fun way to interact and get to know others in a safe group setting where nothing is expected. And if they do hit it off with someone, the privacy to get away if the feelings are mutual.
Great idea Evie! I agree with LivingTheDream. I wouldn’t mind making the trip. It would be a great reason to visit the UK again. It just depends on the timing.
