Technical issues today

I had to do some testing on the site today, so there have been various tech issues affecting the site –

– The top (black) menu has been removed (temporary), so to get to your messages/notifications etc. please use the My Profile tab on the “main menu”.

– Various people have reported clicking My Profile led them to someone else’s profile page, that has now been resolved but if you notice a similar problem then please comment below.

– Also comment below if you notice anything else not as normal (forum comments, messages, profile updates not appearing etc). These issues are temporary, the site will be back to normal soon.

Is there still an issue with messages, or is there a limit on being able to see old messages?

I don’t ever write a 2nd message to someone if I didn’t get a response to my initial message, but I was not keeping track of who I message; I was relying on the message history on this site. However now I am not able to see who I have messaged before the past couple months.

Also I got some email notifications of messages that ppl sent me, but on the site I do not see the messages. I had at least 1 long thread with a person that is not there anymore.

I had to reduce the size of the database which stores everything that happens on the site, so anything older than 4 months had to go.
