Some users are reporting recent problems sending pictures within the messages system.
They try to send a picture, but a “Network Error” message displays instead.
If you are experiencing this, then please help identify the problem by adding some details below.
I need all of the following information, please.
1. What device are you using? (android, iPhone, computer)
2. Does the error occur when you are connected via WiFi, via mobile data, or both?
3. Does it work after a couple of attempts, or does the error repeat?
4. How long have you noticed this issue? (days or weeks)June 19, 2025 at 4:46 pm #595957I have sent them with no problem using an Android phone.
June 19, 2025 at 5:31 pm #595961I have had this happen but went out of the chat and back in and tried to send again and it was fine.

June 19, 2025 at 11:21 pm #5960861. What device are you using? (android, iPhone, computer)
Android
2. Does the error occur when you are connected via WiFi, via mobile data, or both?
Both
3. Does it work after a couple of attempts, or does the error repeat?Fails every time unless I reduce the size of the image 700kb image errors out. 497kb works fine.
4. How long have you noticed this issue? (days or weeks)
Since I logged back into the site yesterday.June 21, 2025 at 10:27 pm #596839I have no issues at all. I use Android (Galaxy S23 Ultra if that’s important).
If a picture is high size – you must reduce the size. Go into your pic settings and resize it OR screenshot the picture and adjust a frame. Then go back to the messages, and send that screenshot attachment instead of the original. That is what I do as most of my pictures are 5MB and above and they won’t go through otherwise.
I hope this helps anyone.

Android & Computer
2. Does the error occur when you are connected via WiFi, via mobile data, or both?
Both, Have also tried turning WiFi off and data off and resetting them.
3. Does it work after a couple of attempts, or does the error repeat?
The error repeats itself and never sends.
4. How long have you noticed this issue? (days or weeks)
For the last week or so.June 25, 2025 at 4:23 pm #598503June 30, 2025 at 9:25 pm #601338I have given up. In order to post a picture, I have to do the following:
1. Take pic
2. Resize to less 100 kb
3. If I am logged into the site, log out and force close chrome.
4. Turn off wifi/Turn wifi 30 seconds later
5. Start chrome and login
6. Upload image and prayThere is a 60% chance this ritual works. Once the image is uploaded, I have to perform the ritual all over again. If I am lucky, I can share 2 pictures every 24 hour period.
Some of these are 48kb and I still get network error.
If I am on the 5G network, it refuses to cooperate no matter what I do.
The site never used to do this.
July 2, 2025 at 5:54 pm #602164After some testing, it may be specific samsung devices as opposed to Android.
I have 0 issues using my samsung tablet. I uploaded a 2.9 mb image which was resized on the back end.
My phone is a zfold6.
