We’re absolute foodies who enjoy trying new things. Given the diversity of the site we thought it would be fun for everyone to share their favorite meals/recipes.
October 19, 2025 at 1:25 pm #651984One of our top 3 is a smoked pot roast. It goes in the smoker for about 3 hours and then in the crock pot for another 8 hours. The meat just falls apart and tastes amazing.
October 19, 2025 at 1:51 pm #652014My favourite meals are very English.
Classic Fish and chips. I normally go for Cod. Haddock and plaice are also good. Scampi fried is just divine. All served with chips. Mushy peas or a salad.

October 19, 2025 at 2:56 pm #652043I love to cook breakfast. My favorite meal of the day. From fried spam and scrambled eggs to omelets done your way it’s all good.
On special occasions I’ll make German pancakes (crepes). Fillings and toppings are your choice. I prefer a chunky peanut butter filling, rolled and sliced with maple syrup dribbled on top. Yum!October 19, 2025 at 9:03 pm #652253Augustnio’s in Hoboken NJ appetizer artichoke hearts franchise and main course Shrimp Parmesan

October 20, 2025 at 6:17 am #652400Posting a famous traditional Dutch thing to eat.Its raw herring witn onion, also raw. Its eaten as in the video.
Best in june, when the season starts. Fisherman to bring in the first herring of the season gets a lot of money for it. Its a celebration when the new herring comes in. Wait a week or two and then have one yourself Its at its best.

Sautéed reindeer with mashed potatoes and lingonberries. Or man can just say, reindeer in all forms. Smoked is something you must try
October 20, 2025 at 9:09 pm #652579I have a MeetUp group I go camping with a few times a year. One of the special things we do when camping is to have a potluck meal on the Saturday evening of our campout. There are guidelines for us on choosing what offering to bring for said potluck so that no one brings pre-prepared veggie sampler tray from Walmart to get off easy.
About 2 years ago I decided to do a Cajun shrimp boil for the potluck that time. I got the items for it at the grocery and pre-made as much as I could. I read everything I could find on it before getting there. I had two large voume cast iron skillets to make it in on my three burner campstove. I was very antsy about how it would turn out. With shrimp, it is important to not cook the shrimp too long (otherwise they get hard and very rubbery). So I cooked the three-inch corn on the cob sections, potatoes, carrots, broccoli (not really a Cajun thing, but I did anyway), and celery slices in the spicy sauces first for about a half-hour. Then I dumped the already peeled shrimp in for about 9-10 minutes.
I got so many compliments on that creation that night. It was so good. I love spicy and Cajun cooking especially, and it was just perfect!
