    Hey y’all!
I am not able to take Domperidone due to some kind of adverse reaction. So I was wondering what supplements do you take and why? Do you have links to what you find most effective?
In my research I have found the following to be most effective for me:

Goats Rue: builds breast tissue for the long haul!

Blessed Thistle: makes breast milk taste better or sweeter!

Milk Thistle: makes a thicker more nutrient dense milk.

Shatavari: makes breast milk easier to digest! Less air bubbles or indigestion.

Fenugreek: helps with production but only take after you have started producing.

There are blends out there but have found that purchasing individually has the best effect for the max dosage advised for breastfeeding!

Let me know what you take!

When I tried inducing with my husband, I used to take high doses of dom, metoclopramide and cyclizine. 19 months of that plus 6+ sucklings every day and never got a drop.

This may be obvious but I have heard lots of non-caffeinated fluids are vital.

I didn’t have much luck with supplements, even pumpimg regularly. Dom has worked the best for me.

Yes coconut water and herbal teas are great but water is the main component of breast milk.
I have a hereditary metabolic disorder that causes me to metabolize medication at different rates and creates adverse reactions, sucks monkey butt but it is what it is!

I have found many supplements that can support breast feeding as well as medications and wondered if y’all had found anything of value!
    Thanks ladies!
