“Seen it all.”
I once pulled a running lawn mower into a basement window well with me, as I fell 7′ into the bottom of it. Backing up without looking where I was going, gripping the handle in my confusion which only kept the thing running as it tipped over backwards and bridged itself over the well, blade-up. It didn’t quite fit in. No crack, I didn’t even smoke weed back then. Totally sober. I finally let go of the throttle, pushed the mower outta the way, climbed outta the well. No one saw nothin’. I was fine, I was like 23, I proceeded to finish mowing the lawn as-if.

I have proprioception issues (hard time telling where my extremities are sometimes) and often bump into doorways and such- and usually without much more than an ‘ow’. One day I was walking into the kitchen and my hand barely tapped the doorframe, I broke two blood vessels and ended up with half of my hand looking like I caught it in a car door.
Have actually caught my hand in a car door- zero bruising.
