A small update:
Multiple, repeat Friend Requests has always been an annoying issue on ABFheaven, especially for women: you get an unwanted Friend Request, you reject it, the same user sends another, you reject it again, and on it goes.
From today, if a user sends a request and you reject, they can’t send any more. The “Add Friend” button will simply not display for them when they visit your profile.
Question: what if I accidentally click REJECT to someone’s request who I really wanted as a friend? What then?
Answer: the Add Friend button will only be hidden for the “rejected” person when they visit your profile; you can simply go to their profile and click the visible Add Friend button.
Essentially this all means that you are limited to one friend request per person. Which is certainly enough, in my opinion. Hopefully this will lead to much more careful use of this function and encourage everyone to primarily use Private Messages to “get to know” someone and thus to use the Friend Request later on to “seal the deal”, so to speak.
Good modification.
Thank you.
