@ Rumina, Dostoevsky and Tolstoy are my favorite too. I have read Chekhov’s stories too.

I am expanding on some of my favorite authors. George Gissing and his more critical view of cheap and vapid idealism, rereading a book by Goncharov about laziness and dispersion of talent, with his Oblomov, showing some of the weakness of Slavic nations. I usually read science, and European history but I need great writers of fiction too, of the classic kind, some science fiction can be OK but some of it tries to hard too be original and loses the idea.
