Hello, would someone like to share or suggest their reviews for Breast pumps; brand, model?
Thank you kindly!😊
July 8, 2025 at 1:56 am #604457Check out the Limerick PJ’s Comfort breast pump. It’s highly rated. A friend of mine bought a used one on Ebay and she absolutely loved how it sucked her breasts and nipples. New ones are pricey, but many women say it’s the best pump they’ve ever had. Read the reviews

July 8, 2025 at 2:03 am #604459PJ’S comfort is strong pump but you have to drive it… meaning watching the clock and switching settings. There one size fits all flange is not the best for those of us smaller than 21 mm nipples.
I am currently in love with SuperGenie by Pumpables. The closest feel to an actual mouth in my opinion. I love that I can program the pump or download programs developed by others. I am using one developed by a lactation consultant for building supply.

July 9, 2025 at 9:59 pm #605504I’ve tried a plethora of different brands that I’ve purchased from Target and Amazon. I’ve tried the Spectra, hands-free/ rechargeable breast pump by paruu, the Evenflo, and I’ve ever tried The Freestyle Hands-Free Electric Breast Pump by Medela. In my opinion, all of these breast pumps were garbage, but the Medela Freestyle pump was the most expensive and the worst. The battery life had such low quality and retention. The machine stopped suctioning and working within a few months after purchase. The biggest thing I look for when purchasing a breast pump are portability and suction. How easily can I pack up the pump and all its parts. How easy can it be cleaned. Is the machine actually portable for pumping on the go.
For me the only pump that works for me is the Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump with Tote, Double Electric Breastpump.
It’s the closest you’ll get to the hospital grade machines they have on the maternity / l&D floor. They no longer make or sell this specific model. I was lucky enough to inherit one from my mother. But you’ll be able to find a handful of the motors floating around on Facebook market place or EBay.
Anyway, feel free to take my advice with a grain of salt. When looking for a good breast pump you need to narrow down what you’re specifically looking for in a pump. You need to also be prepared to buy the correct flange inserts because everyone has different nipple sizes. You can injure yourself by using a breast pump with the wrong flange size. There are free flange size templates online that you can print out and use measure yourself. Then you can look up purchase a flange insert that’s in your size.
