Simply for the sake of saying it, sir, if someone has you blocked for whatever reason it’s best not to comment on their thread. I doubt the block was an accident.
I’ve been blocked by people I’ve never even spoken to as well as people I’ve floundered communications with and it’s simply a sign of respect to not continue to reach out to them through other avenues.

Not to disagree strongly on this, but I had a friend here years ago that accidentally blocked me and didn’t know it. I told her later (Probably months or a year later) because I noticed her in a chat. She unblocked me and we were friends for many years after (she is gone from the site now). I’m glad I got back with her that day though. It may be a slim possibility, but it is still possible. It is easy to hit the wrong button on these sites and not know it. But your point is valid almost all of the time.
