Napping requires nursing.Im lucky of I last 10 min. And always wake up in my drool, with a nipple in my mouth.
Usually when nursing I can usually weasel my way into getting my head scratched and the combo of the two will USUALLY put me to sleep. Especially as someone who easily falls asleep anyway, how could one not? 😂
I try to be thoughtful and make sure I empty both breasts as well as my partner wants. my previous partner had a hand gesture to let me know when I could let the relaxation take over though and I would gladly nap or drift off being held against her….
I thought it was just me! The pumping puts me to sleep, when I can’t sleep I’ll start pumping, thank goodness they have an automatic stop after 30 minutes
I never slept as well as when I was nursing. Even though it’s been several years I still wake up searching for it.
Sleepy suckles are my FAVOURITE but they only happen when there is trust and a bond. Usually this has built up over time with some consistency. I love watching my partner deeply relax and to be able to provide that comfort. The nervous system relaxes and they sink into that place where time doesn’t exist and nothing else matters. I would usually follow soon after. 🥰
