Hi all! I am super new to abf and wanting to learn more, specifically about inducing. I am in a newish relationship where he has opened up to me about wanting this and we have been dry nursing but want to take it to the next level. This is my first experience with this so I’m finding everything very overwhelming but trying to be open minded! Would love any tips and advice please! 🙂

What a lovely experience to share! I’d recommend starting out with Mikalah’s lactation podcast on here.

Welcome to the site. I’m brand new to abf also. I started with breast massage as often as I could make time for it. One of the techniques I used, if I remember correctly, was called the Marmet Technique plus a variety of other breast massage techniques I found on YouTube. That helped me get drops within the first month. I know that no two bodies are the same but that’s what got my milk production going in the beginning. There is such a wealth of information on this site I’m sure you will find all kinds of advice and tips as you make your way through the site. Good luck and I hope you enjoy the process.

Thanks so much! Can you recommend a specific one for lactating or beginners?

How many times a day on average were you doing that?

I massaged my breasts every 2-3 hours, except at night. Once my milk started to come in I bought a pump and started pumping in addition to breast massage. Hope that helps. I also went through Rose’s Blog on this site, that was extremely helpful being I had never lactated before.
