More menu mallarky……

Ok, more attempts to streamline the menus on ABFheaven.

– The black-bar menu at the top of screen has gone, this was basically your “My Profile” menu.
– New “My Profile” tab on main menu, gives you access to all your profile stuff (edit profile, activity, settings, etc)
– Notification bell under site-logo, shows when you have new messages/notifications etc.

Let me know how you get on with this arrangement. Hope it simplifies things a little, there is now just one menu instead of two.

UPDATE – I moved the notification bell to the menu, it’s still quickly accessible but less intrusive.

I actually prefer the bell at the top. But this is definitely a better, less “cumbersome” menu system than the disastrous one you tried the other day. lol

Hey! It wasn’t a disaster! I like to think of it more as .. an experimental voyage of aesthetic discovery. In other words, yes, a disaster.
But I’m not happy yet. Not sure if that bell is functioning as intended. So might scrap it all again and keep trying.

The bell worked fine for me–showed I had 3 friend requests….hope this helps you!

Thanks Dena, that helps.
I was sending private messages to myself (from a test account) and they were not showing on the bell. So we shall see.
