Men – How often do you get a response to your messages?

50% of the time, I get a reply.
25% of the time, the lady writes to me first.

I’d say it’s 50/50. I’ve had great conversations with people on here, and have even received very appreciative responses from people saying they loved my message, but I just don’t match the criteria of what they’re looking for, which I think is nice. I strive to read everyone’s bio to make sure I’m not barking up the wrong tree, but some profiles/bios are blank or pretty broad in what they’re looking for, so I reach out and try to initiate conversations as I normally would. I get that women here are likely being bombarded by messages on the daily, but I don’t think it’s hard to just write back a simple “Thanks for reaching out, but I don’t think we’re a good fit. Best of luck to you!” I think being left on read says more about the other person than it does about you anyway. If they leave you on read, they’re not worth your time IMO.
