🌸 Earliest Memories of Bliss 🌺

I opened the bundle in the early morning and inside was a tiny memory that had no video just audio

I can’t recall the voices but mentally I see a picture of you, mom and maybe my brother, I can’t really recall

You are feeding me asking me to open my mouth and I probably eat because the next voice is me asking “what happened next ? “

Then the memory unfolds to the actual scene, which is mealtime, and you patiently talking to me and taking time to make sure that I was properly nourished and fed

Your immense patience in coaxing each bite as my mind wondered about things in the story

Your soothing voice.. the warmth and love in it so palpable, even after so many years have passed since then

My older brother helping you at mealtime by keeping me engaged and distracted.

The audio is of his little exasperations in between our story as the meal or story wasn’t getting done anytime soon because I would inevitably ask “What happened next? “

Thus ran that little tiny bundle of memories that brought forth love and wetness in my eyes early this morning..🌸💕🌺

My memory comes from visiting family friends that were camping at a nearby lake. They were pulling their airstream trailer around the US. The memory is of riding on a Honda Scrambler holding onto the gas tank. I wasn’t yet big enough to reach the handle bars. 😜 This must’ve infected me with the motorcycle riding bug that has stayed with me to this day.
