I just grew a mustache (the Guy Williams/Earl Flynn kind), not a beard. But years ago a former partner would comment about beard burn on her breasts and/or face. But… she kinda liked it regardless. (Go figure.)
But how do you feel about it ladies: Hate it? Is it an issue? Never noticed? You actually kinda… like it? Please share your comments, experiences and even advice.
BTW: I discovered the following for its prevention or treatment:
“To reduce beard burn, the partner with the beard should keep their facial hair soft by washing, conditioning, and trimming it, while the partner with sensitive skin can apply a barrier cream or moisturizer, like aloe vera, before contact. Keeping the skin clean and hydrated can also help prevent irritation. A beard with some length can be way more soft an unabrasive. If remaining shaved, she could ask him to shave as closely as possible before together-time AND apply a moisturizer.”I had a partner before that has a pretty thick beard. I would stroke his beard while he nursed. It’s part of the sweet fond memories that I have of nursing him

So… you rather not SAY if you do like facial hair or not?
Or… you rather not HAVE a partner with facial hair??Its not the most important question, because anr is about the connection and less about looks. But I guess some people are all about looks and cant see beauty inside.
Oh ok. But like I mentioned initially this post is mainly about: Beard Burn eventualities. NOT how beards do or don’t look. To clarify.
Unfortunately, facial hair irritates my super pale skin- causes redness.
