Can a woman start to lactate just from suckling over time?
Yes, indeed she can. Some more easily than others and it depends on others factors as well, mainly hormonal. It’s easier if she’s previously had children, but that’s not to say it’s not possible for a woman who has never had children to induce lactation.
This is great news. She has 5 kids and we have weekly suckle sessions. Crossing my fingers 😜
Five children has to be a bonus. I’ve had 2, the youngest of whom is now 15 years old and I have accidentally induced lactation by pumping for pleasure 🤣 although, I think I was lactating a little bit last year when I had an ANR partner suckling twice a day. Once a week won’t induce lactation alone but if milk is important to both of you, she could pump as well, if she has any spare time, with 5 kids to look after 🙈
Great point. She does have a pump so I will make sure to ask 😉
Please be reasonable. She has 5 children 😳 it’s a big ask considering you only see her once a week. That’s not to say she won’t want to, it her choice obviously, but it is demanding on the body and inconvenient with leaking, washing, time consuming etc.
