My prayers for all the people in the path of Hurricane Isaias. 🙏
We have many people from Alabama and Florida Gulf coast, in the path of Isaias.

I was surprised to find out how many people were praying for me. Little me, can you believe it? Little hummingbird not-in-danger doing just fine me. Dozens of people, apparently: praying for me. People I’d never met and never will.

Then I found out about the point system.

Ahhh, I see now.

Cuz I was a little creeped out at first. People thinking they throw the levers and push the buttons of my life from their bedside. I mean, it’s kinda creepy.

But it’s OK: if they earn points or tokens or whatever off me, or hurricane victims, I guess I don’t mind.

I mean if it doesn’t really do anything, then what’s the problem? Let ’em earn points, rack ’em up. More power to ’em, that’s my take.

Climate change is a bitch tho, ain’t it? First the heat dome, now this. Earth is a fun-ass planet.
